"The dishes do as mains or sides, which is ideal for a 'mixed' family." Liz's thoughts on Delicious Dishes for Gluten-Free VegetariansHow would you describe this book?
Easy, tasty recipes for everyone whether they are regular cooks or have never cooked before. Where did the idea for this book come from? I was shopping in the free-from section of Waitrose when I met a mother and her daughter who was newly diagnosed as coeliac. They were floundering as the girl was about to go to University and for the first time would be catering for herself with limited facilities. I thought my recipes would be ideal for her and others. What is your favourite recipe in this book? Why? Vegetable Pie: everyone loves it! I always keep one in the freezer for unexpected guests. I can add a piece of meat or fish on the side for non-vegetarians. |
